The Blossom Shop opened it's doors back in 1943.

The Founder, Mrs. Brandenburg, was a no nonsense woman who could get things done.  She happen to have a knack for flowers too.  With scissors(and determination) in hand, Mrs. Brandenburg was able to grow The Blossom Shop into one of the largest florists in The Low Country.  Colins Patrick (her Nephew), took over in 1989, having worked underneath Mrs. Brandenburg for 14 years.  He and his wife continued in her footsteps for nearly 20 more years.  In 2008, Stan Utheim became the most recent owner.  

 

Today, The Blossom Shop is still a household name and landmark in Summerville.
